SYMPOSIUM Competition in Youth Sports: where is the balance?
On Thursday evening, April 15, during the Summit. Each year CSRM hosts a special symposium to explore important topics in the field of sports ministry. This year we are pleased to have Caz McCaslin, founder and president of Upward Sports, joining us to explore this important topic alongside Dr. Greg Linville, executive director of CSRM. This evenings conversation will explore the theological basis and practical implications of the role of competition within youth sports and recreation endeavors. The symposoium is an optional event requiring an additional fee.
Time: Thursday evening 6:00-9:00pm
Price: $25.00 per person

CONNECT RACE New for the 2010 Summit
On Saturday, April 17th following the Summit, CSRM will be hosting the first annual Connect 5K and Fun Run hosted by our partners at Connect Ministries. Both races will be open to the Atlanta community, however all Summit participants and exhibitors are invited to participate in the race at the discounted rate of $15 per runner. 100% of race proceeds will go to support CSRM and the Atanta SOLD team.
Start Times: 5K 8:30am / Fun Run 9:00 / 5K awards ceremony @ 9:30am
Price: $15.00 for Summit Participants/Exhibitors ($25 Non-Summit runners / $30 walk-ups)
Details: performance wicking t-shirt provided to all racers, start and finish lines are very close to our host church

POST-CONFERENCE BRAVES GAME
On Friday evening, April 16, immediately following the Summit we have arranged for a group discount to see the Atlanta Braves play the Colorado Rockies at Turner Field. Participants will carpool down together to enjoy the game following the conclusion of the Summit.
Time: Game begins at 7:35pm.
Price: $30 per person
Price Includes: Club level ticket, $10.00 food voucher (participants responsible for their own transportation to/from the game, but MARTA rapid transit system is very close to hotel and stadium)

PRE-CONFERENCE GOLF OUTING
On Tuesday afternoon, April 13 we will be holding a golf outing which has become a CSRM tradition over the years. Final details are still being determined for the event, but we've narrowed it down to 2 courses, both within 4 miles from the Summit hotel. Scott Lehman from In His Grip Golf will be hosting the event and providing a short-game clinic and give-aways to each golfer.
Time: 2:00pm arrival / 3:00pm tee off (Tentative: Exact time TBD with course selection)
Price: $50.00 per golfer
Price Includes: Greens fee, cart, snacks, short-game clinic, and other goodies (all golfers responsible for their own transportation to/from the course)
