The Association of Church Sports and Recreation Ministers invites you to attend the 14th annual Sports Ministry Summit to be held at Northside United Methodist Church in Atlanta, GA. We have a strong line up of speakers to challenge and inspire us to excellence in our various ministries. The main sessions and dozens of workshops will cater to the individualized needs of the sports minister. Additionally, there will be plenty of opportunities for you to renew, refresh, learn and play!

Mark Miller
Vice President of Learning and Development
Chick-fil-A
Mark began his Chick-fil-A career working as an hourly team member at a restaurant in 1977 and since that time, he has held several leadership positions with the organization. During his time with Chick-fil-A, annual sales have grown to almost $3 billion and the company now has over 1,400 restaurants in 38 states. When not working to sell more chicken, Mark is active in supporting his local church and building the church around the world. He has taught in numerous countries and around the States on a wide array of topics including: Leadership, Creativity, Team Building, and Evangelism.
Mark is a best selling author and partnered with Ken Blanchard to write The Secret! in which they share what Chick-fil-A has learned and practiced for many years regarding leadership. Over a quarter of a million copies of The Secret! are in print in the US with over 20 language translations underway. Mark just completed his 2nd and 3rd works which are in the publication process.
Mark enjoys an active lifestyle. He and his oldest son, Justin, climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania (19,360 ft.) and completed their first marathon. Recently, Mark and Justin traveled to Nepal and trekked to Everest Base Camp. Mark and his wife, Donna, have been married for over 25 years. They have two children, Justin and David. They live in Fayetteville, Georgia. |

Wallace Francis
Director of Ministries
Ambassadors for Christ International, USA
Wallace was born in Franklin, Louisiana. He graduated from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and was drafted by the Buffalo Bills to play professional football. As a rookie player he led the American Football Conference in kickoff returns. He was then traded to the 'Atlanta Falcons' where he led the team in receptions and was voted Falcons’ Player of the Year by his teammates.
Feeling the call of God upon his life, Wallace retired from football, left all and stepped out in faith to attend Evangelical Institute of Greenville, S.C. preparing for full time ministry. In 1990 he joined Ambassadors for Christ International and has a fruitful ministry to youth, athletes and churches in evangelistic preaching and teaching.
Wallace was elected National Director of the USA Ministry Team and Chairman of the USA Ministry Council in 2001. He endeavors to maintain its vision, initiate and oversee the expansion of the team and communicate the team’s mission and purpose throughout the US. Wallace and his wife Cheryl live in Mableton, Georgia with their four children. |

David McNeely
Sr. High and Teaching Pastor
Perimeter Church, Atlanta, GA
David was born and raised in a pastor’s home but struggled in his early years, beginning alcohol rehabilitation as a senior in high school. It wasn't until the spring quarter of his freshman year in college that he surrendered to the Lordship of Christ.
David coached football and basketball at the high school level for 5 years before pursuing a full-time ministry role with students. He earned a degree in Organizational Management from Covenant College and a Masters from Metro Atlanta Seminary. He has served as a chaplain to several high school athletic teams in the public school system and is currently involved with FCA and several other campus ministries.
David is married to Judith and currently resides in Atlanta, Ga where they raise their six boys. David serves on the senior high staff of Perimeter Church where he also enjoys a role on the teaching team of the church. |

Garrett Moore
Worship Leader
Garrett Moore is a local singer/songwriter in the Atlanta area with a heart for cultural renewal. Garrett writes and performs songs that echo God's story of redemption within his own story at music venues across Atlanta. Garrett attended Marshall University in his hometown of Huntington, WV where he began leading worship in a campus ministry. After moving to Atlanta, he became very involved in The Gathering, leading worship for the young adults of Perimeter Church. Garrett hopes to continue to lead God's people in worship, and to reach out to the secular music market for many years to come. |
